CBSE Class 10th Supplementary Exam Date Sheet and Reevaluation Dates Released
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date sheet for the supplementary exams and reevaluation dates for the Class 10th board exam 2024. The supplementary exams for Class 10 will commence from July 15, with the verification of marks starting from May 17 and lasting for 5 days. The window for applying for reevaluation of answer sheets will open on June 6 and will be available for two days only. CBSE has emphasized that no applications will be accepted after the deadline, and all applications must be submitted online. This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10th 2024 stands at 93.60%, showing a slight increase from the previous year’s 93.12%. The number of students placed in compartments (full subjects) has decreased from 6.22% in 2023 to 5.91% this year. Additionally, CBSE has announced that no overall division, distinction, or aggregate will be awarded to students appearing for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2024. The decision to determine the best five subjects for candidates taking more than five subjects will be made by admitting institutes or employers recruiting CBSE board students.
