He wrote that the NEET UG 2022 examination process shouldn’t start or end “in a hurry” given the large number of students who will take the test.

Additionally, he said that the notice’s delay had drastically shortened the window for preparation and urged the postponement of NEET UG 2022 by at least 45 days.

He listed five reasons for delaying NEET UG 2022 in a letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Neeraj Kundan, the national president of the NSUI, continued in his letter by saying, “There are lakhs of students who prepare for medical examinations every year and this number is increasing every year. With millions of hopes sticking, the process should not be start or end in a hurry.”

He further requested that the exam be postponed, “Considering the genuine reasons stated above. Kindly defer the NEET UG examination atleast for 45 days. So that students are both mentally & psychologically fit to appear in the examination,” he wrote.
