The results of the Class 10 board examination have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students who took exams can check their results at cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, results.gov.in, or cbse.digitallocker.gov.in. The board released the results of the Class 12 final examination earlier today. Using the school code, roll number, and admit card ID, one can verify their CBSE results.
Exams were conducted by CBSE in two terms this year. In terms of theory papers, terms 1 and 2 have been assigned an equal weightage of 30% and 70%, respectively, for the sake of the final results. Practically, both terms have been given the same amount of importance.
Nearly 35 lakh students registered for the 2022 CBSE 10th and 12th term exams, which were held from April 26 to June 15. A total of 2093978 students took the CBSE 10th exam. Out of the total 1976668 have passed the exam, taking the pass percentage to 94.40%. Girls have performed better than boys by 1.41%. As many as 95.21% of girls passed the exam, among boys, it is 93.80% and 90% of transgender category students have passed the exam.
At 99.68 per cent, Trivandrum records the highest pass percentage in class 10th exams, while Assam’s Guwahati records the lowest pass percentage at 82.23 per cent. The institution-wise pass percentage is, JNV- 99.71%; Independent- 96.86%; KV- 96.61%; CTSA- 91.27%; Govt – 80.68%; Govt aided – 76.73%.
