CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Declared: Pass Percentage Falls to 85.20%, Girls Outshine Boys

The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially announced the Class 12 board examination results for 2026 on May 13. Students who appeared for the Senior Secondary examinations can now access their marksheets through the official result portals.

This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 85.20%, reflecting a decline of 3.19 percentage points compared to 2025, when the pass rate was 88.39%.

Performance Overview

A total of 17,80,365 students had registered for the examinations, while 17,68,968 candidates appeared. Out of these, 15,07,109 students successfully cleared the exams.
