CISCE announces ICSE and ISC results for 2023: Girls outshine boys, over 2.5 lakh candidates appear for exams

The ICSE, ISC Result 2023 has been released by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, or CISCE. According to the official announcement, students can use their unique ID and index number to check their ICSE and ISC results on cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

From February 27 to March 29, CISCE conducted ICSE final exams. Final exams for Class 12 or ISC took place from February 13 to March 31.

Rushil Kumar, Annanya Karthik, Shreya Upadhyay, Advay Sardesai, Tanay Sushil Shah, Hiya Sanghavi, Avishi Singh, and Sambit Mukhopadhyay are the best performers in the ICSE with 499 marks.

Riyaa Agarwal, Ipshita Bhattacharyya, Mohd Aryaan Tariq, Subham Kumar Agarwal, and Manya Gupta, who received 399 marks, are the highest scorers in the ISC.

For the CISCE year 2023 board exams, almost 2.5 lakh candidates have registered. Students who are dissatisfied with their results have until March 21 to request a recheck through the board’s websites or their schools. ISC students must pay Rs. 1,000 per subject, and ICSE students must pay Rs. 1,000 per paper for this.

The pass percentage for ISC students is 96.93%, while for ICSE students is 98.94%.

The number of students who took the ICSE exam was 237,631, with 109,500 girls and 128,131 boys. Similarly, out of the 98,505 students that took the ISC exam, there were 51,781 boys and 46,724 girls.

Girls have outperformed boys in both Class 10 and Class 12. While in the ICSE exams, boys scored 98.71% and girls secured 99.21%. The pass percentage for girls in the ISC exams is 98.01%, compared to 95.96% for boys.

The 63 written subjects in the ICSE exam included 21 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and 2 classical languages.

47 written subjects total of which 12 are Indian languages, 3 are foreign languages, and 1 is a classical language were covered by the ISC examination.
