Certainly! The Shakthi Group of Institutions began as a higher educational institution with our campus located in Nambur Engineering College, catering to around 5,000 students. In 2017, we expanded by establishing a CBSE school campus in Avinashi. Currently, we also operate five play schools as part of our network. From kindergarten to doctoral programs, we offer a comprehensive educational journey under the banner of Shakthi. How is your institution adapting to the transformation of education into a more digital format, and what benefits have you observed? While digital education is beneficial for higher education, we maintain a focus on traditional methods for our schools. Our higher educational institutions leverage digital platforms, particularly in computer science training programs, enabling students to develop skills through practical applications. However, we believe in a gradual introduction to digital learning, especially for younger students. What sustainable education modules is your institution implementing, and what initiatives have been successful so far? We prioritize sustainability education, including initiatives such as water conservation and environmental preservation. Our campus boasts eco-friendly features, including a 25-acre campus with over 5,500 plants and a rainwater harvesting system. Additionally, we offer programs like the Middle School externship, where students engage in sustainable development projects. At the college level, we emphasize tree plantation initiatives. What factors do parents consider when enrolling their children in schools, particularly at Shakthi Group of Institutions? Parents value a holistic learning environment that connects children with nature, provides a supportive atmosphere, and fosters strong teacher-student relationships. So, it is now coming with the Android version and this has been launched in multiple schools and appreciated in terms of ease of use, how children can benefit in terms of communication, and Live interaction with the class with unique features we have in this panel. This is providing a complete transformation into a different school and fortunate and lucky to add value in the ecosystem. Technologies like the new gadget from Samsung how do you think that upcoming AI technology is enhancing the overall experience of education and learning in the Indian market? When you go back to the Corona Era it was very difficult to communicate with the students at the time this interactive panel adds value to education by educating the students in a particular way. It’s not about one way communication it’s a two-way communication. What students are learning, How they are benefiting, Are they learning in a particular way. In which exam they are not able to qualify, How much they are scoring. So, these all come in picture. We can enhance this and give value to the teacher so they can be focused in a particular area. Is Samsung planning any future product in India? Absolutely, this model was launched in the last August, now we have the complete line up. It will be a vertical lineup for enterprise as well as for education. So, this model now will have an inbuilt camera and definitely the specification will be coming. The best of the word is the most required “Make in India”, from the next month we will have the “Make in India” product so we have the complete line up required as per the specification. National anthem must be sung during morning assembly in schools, orders Karnataka education department

The Department of School Education and Literacy in Karnataka has issued an order making the singing of Jana, Gana, Mana mandatory in response to reports that several elementary and high schools in Bengaluru were skipping the national anthem during the morning assembly. According to a department official, complaints about particular private schools in Bengaluru not following the required protocol for performing the national anthem during morning assembly were filed to Education Minister B C Nagesh. The official stated that “some schools are avoiding singing the national anthem and some are singing only twice a week.” The department has mandated that schools require students to sing the national anthem in order to foster a sense of pride and respect for the country, citing the Union Ministry of Home Affairs’ order on the issue. The responsibility of visiting the schools that are breaking the norm has also been given to officials of the Deputy Director for Public Instruction (DDPI). If there are space constraints during the morning assembly, the students may sing the national anthem in their classrooms, according to the instruction. “Last week, notices were issued to schools where students were not singing the national anthem. Now, they have assured that they will be singing the national anthem regularly,” said Lohithashwa Reddy, DDPI of Bengaluru North.
